Caged Soul

Traped in a dark room for years,
by her own doom. What she would give to see a lovely face,
Or to feel a happy embrace .
Everynight haunted by nightmares,
Why can't the world for once be fair.
Can't freedom come without a fight,
maybe that will change after tonight,
maybe she could get out of this place,
Start over, leave her old world without a trace.
But when the morning comes.....and nothing changes
her suffering will continue raging.
Even through her faith is running low,
she continues to reach for freedoms glow.
and repeat the same prayer every night,
To no longer be a caged soul.
