Caged
A bird denied her freedom,
Caged from Her family,
Caged from the world,
Released only to be paraded around..
To fly on command,
To come when she was called...
Her song has gone...
Her fire extinguished,
The cage is all she knows.
Ahhh what she would give to be free...
To be free...
