Caffeine
I wanna read your mind
I wanna get inside every nook and cranny
of your gray matter
dissect your every wise thought and desire
Not in a malicious way, no
but just so I can know
what makes you tick
what percolates through your mind when we talk
I shouldn't be upset and I shouldn't be confused
but your mind perplexes me
I want to translate your words into something palpable
if you hear desperation in my voice
you are mistaken
for if knowledge is power
I want to exercise some power over you
