She’s blinded by the sirens call …..she was sifting around in the dirt. She lost what was precious, and that was your heart Now she lay’s restless clinging to something empty.. fools gold leaves you deprived in emotional poverty You shone in my palm brighter than two colliding galaxies My Hope Diamond.. you left an afterglow on my cheeks Why Must you apologize For the hero that you are That’s like spitting on the canvas of Monet Waterlillies priceless art You wear shame like a onesie It clings to you, pulls your body language inwards Like A blossoming tree in the rain forest that stays hidden in the dark. She’s blinded by the sirens call …..she was sifting around in the dirt. Lift your weary legs, and put your trust in the universe I can no longer watch you hurt.
