Bye Bye

I wish I had wings.
So I could fly
I would float up
To a clear, bright blue sky
And wave this troubled world,
Goodbye.

Me, too... No doubt you and I would fly to another world, find it even more screwed up than this one, and be back in a hurry to say 'Hello!' ~ Absence makes the Heart Grow Fonder...

I intend to encourage my loved ones to fly with me, and hopefully the place were we finish up together has more common sense and compassion than this deeply troubled world we occupy. ( In my dreams, Gershon)

Only if you allow success to go to your head, sadly too many do. Thank you for your comments, Rico, they always make me think.

My heart goes out to the people around the world who are desperate for peace, I am sure they would rather be looking down from above at this present time. I am pleased my verse gave you a lift, my friend.

This is a pleasant little poem, Shirley, which is often how many of us feel. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for reading it, Milt. There are so many that are far worse than I, life must be unbearable for them. This insurgence was totally unnecessary. I hope all is as well as can be with you, Milt
