It was never a mistake
Or a coincidence
That paths we crossed
You just have to
Do what is right
Forgiveness is key
That I'll never forget.
But with a true friend
All the pains and joys are shared
That is so true
So says you
Concerned about you
I've always been
Though I'll never show it
Or admit it
I always do care
Anything for you
I'll always do
Your pains I see
And I've always cared.
All these happen
Without your knowledge
And perhaps
You'll never know
Looking up to you
Keeps me going
An inspiration to me
You'll always be
Everything is temporary
I learnt that from you
Do not get attached
That sums it all
Leave the past
Where it belongs
That's a lesson
For a lifelong
And though you'll have to leave
And ways we'll have to part
The mark you engraved in my heart
Will never be erased
I love you so freaking much
That's not a saying
It's all I can say
When I have nothing to tell.
When my hands can't reach
Those I love
I hug them with my prayers
And so shall I
Do that forever
Everyone comes and goes
And so will you
The part you took in my life
Can never be compared
Even though you took the lions share
I never will care
For that's the way
It was always meant to be
A diamond you'll always be
So hard to find
And I'll treasure you
All the days of my life.
