By the Sea
By the sea
The tide's relentless roll
Mile high waters, rupture
A breezy morning stroll
Air, a thick and salty pure
The smoldering sun prepares
For a game of peek a boo
Clouds unite and tear
A scenic white and blue
Powdery white grains
fill the gaps between your toes
Sodium filled veins
Reddish cheeks and nose
Pail and a shovel
Working at the grit
Beneath the shimmery rubble
Unique shell, perfectly fit
A multi colored sky
Hues of red, orange and yellow
Nature's sleepy eye
Vibration of the Sea's bellow
