By Rainbow's Kiss
And should my life, a flower be
Each petal, of a memory
I’d find a stem of envied bliss
In lush of hue by rainbow’s kiss
A bloom of full and rich delight
In gratitude, so soft and white
Abundant as a garden grows
I think back now as I suppose
It’s not that thorns have never stung
It’s just that song, I haven’t sung
For what reflects in morning sun
The softest petals, moonlight spun
And when my life, as flowers do
Begins to fade, not to be blue
A lifetime gifted by the Source
Will carry me with no remorse
