By Land Or Sea

Road take me to her, lead me there
Forge the path, no matter where
I'll walk the planet to and fro
From east to west, from pole to pole

I'll swim across the seven seas
From coldest straits to warmest keys
In deference to your current flow
Where she is I trust you know

So take me to her, show the way
Bring me to her shore someday
For when I see her on that shore
No more will I want evermore

Then there I'd stand with open arms
My heart would burst forth with alarms
That wake me up, my eyes agleam
No more is this dream just a dream
