By Far

How can a solemn promise you keep
In the past six years your love didn't sleep
True to your words you patiently wait
Until God's timing matched your faith.

I remember the days we bid goodbye
No words came from us but sighs.
You didnt stay but I'm glad you dropped by
My time to be with you is drawing nigh.

Meeting you here is a beautiful fate
The love you have given shut the hate.
Know that I am because you are
My most treasured person by far.
