By Accident
In life`s inner journey we seldom tread
Along verdant vales bordered with flowers
But often along winding ways we dread,
At times on tracts with thorns amidst showers,
In the depth of our heart sensing the need
For a sagacious sage to guide our creed.
Such a rare bird we struggle hard to find
Like a blue moon in a silvery sky:
With the wretched walls of our wetted mind
Feeling lost in a labyrinth up high
In a tangled tortuous maze of thoughts
We try to untie ropes twisted with knots.
Distraught with dark despair we may settle,
After steady sincere surrogate search,
For him who is far from the ideal
Who may quit us in arena of lurch
To fare on our own in the thick of life,
To administer our own inner strife.
Stumbling on the rightful guide for ourselves
Can sprout out of our blissful destiny
A miracle to raise our inner self
A fortuitous act of honesty
Destined to enlighten our sincere soul
A blessed accident carved in our scroll.
