Buzz Off
If I were a bee
With only one bite
I’d consider very carefully
Your most suitable site
Should I go round
Should I go flat
Or perhaps should I go for
What I’m looking straight at
Contrary to what
You may feel about me
My sting is in fact
A gratuity
It’s not out of malice
Or anger or hate
But a small memento
Of my psychological state
Depending of course
On the part that I choose
Will determine the passion
With which I infuse
So don’t be afraid
So don’t run away
As nature proclaims
I have to obey
Injecting my venom
In your delectable part
Is merely a cue
For me to depart
And when I am gone
And you tend to your sore
Remember my buzz
Which before you’d ignore
You see that’s all I can really do
For everything else, I haven’t a clue
A sting or a buzz, if only you knew
It’s not about me, it’s all about you.
