Buy Me

BUY ME
Buy me a rose
That each time I look at it
I am reminded of your love
Affection and desire
But no
Buy me not a rose
For when it wilts with time
Will that mean that your love
Affection for me
I won’t feel

Buy me a ring
That each time it sparkles
Am reminded of your smile
Your promises
Your touch
But on second thoughts no
I don’t think a ring will do
Perhaps it maybe stolen
For its beauty never goes unnoticed
Then I will be robbed of
Your smile
Your promises
Your love

But buy me nothing but you
For each I will have to hold onto you
Your heart
Your love and affection
Then I won’t be scared to loss you
And everything that you give
