Butterfly Wishes

Colorful butterfly wishes
Tucked safely in a jar
I keep them for rainy days
When I need to feel sunshine

Whenever I feel hopeless
Like the world has turned dark grey
I lift the lid a little bit
Watch the butterflies fly away

No longer are the clouds so heavy
With little drops of rain
The butterflies they form a band
Of colors from out of this world

I watch them one by one
Beautifully fly away
And like all the pressure of the day
They are once again set free
