Butterfly Shadows

Butterfly Shadows They stopped me in my tracks as I walked out the door ready to work in the garden out back the sun blazing overhead and a fragrant late spring breeze blowing gently from south to north apple blossoms painted white with a pink tinge filled the tree out front but what grabbed me were the shadows of two butterflies dancing on the walkway just in front of my door one larger than the other though obviously together I stood motionless the sun warming my face and the shadows mesmerizing me their dance choreographed by the breeze and some magical butterfly radar had me so enthralled that I never looked up to see them live and in color…
