Butterfly of Pink
butterfly of pink
sit in the dark my love
stay completely still
your worries.. put them in a wine glass
what to do with them...in time it will come to pass
calm your fears
listen to the laughter of your children throughout the years
touch your chest
listen to your heart pounding until it beats slow
take in a deep breath
and when you are content-content you will know
on your darkest day
on your busiest hour
take that wine glass and slam in to the ground with all your power
what do you see... even the darkness holds no barrier to the butterfly in pink
all your worries of everything
take them in as a drink
butterfly in pink
in the world's conformity.. don't sink
all will be grand...
will the wine glass be in your hand
or beautifully scattered on the floor
