Butterfly Kisses
Gracefully it flies past
Alighting gently on the lavender
Wings fluttering to cool himself
As kisses pass between himself and the flower
Gathering nectar to keep himself alive
The butterfly speeds his journey to feed
His beauty would be hard to describe
The garden flowers he will always need
So next time a butterfly goes past
Hold out your hand he will surely alight
Look at the splendour no painting could surpass
Gently feel the Butterfly kiss you, then take flight
