Kiss the sky
Butterfly
With vibrant colors
On gossamer wings
Your beauty so sublime
swiftly soaring

Dance in the sky
Butterfly
Your wings like elegant gems
That sparkle in the sunshine
With gentle grace
Flitting and floating

Kiss the sky
Butterfly
Soar high
On vibrant wings
As exquisite as a patchwork quilt
Without a stich or a seam

Dance in the sky
Butterfly
On soft breezes
Flutter free
Velvet wings so fragile
Cocooned no more
