Butterfly
fluttering butterfly:
an unexpected but welcome
flight of a loved one's soul...
just checking in
to see if my partner and I
are all right...
I silently reply
'it's all good',
revealing a thank-you
with a single tear...
the butterfly dips its wings...
and bids farewell.
