Butterfly

Fluttering around
Hardly making a sound

They catch your eye
As they fly by
Wispy and dreamy
So light in the air
Amazing flair

Markings on some
On others none

Before they can woo
Four stages they go through
Metamorphosis to me and you
During this a chrysalis devolops
Like a womb
It envolops

From this they emerge
In their new guise
So pleasing to our eye
No one can deny

Beautiful creature
Wonder of nature

Butterfly
