Butterflies of Beauty
Butterflies of Beauty
Oh gorgeous Monarch, linger longer please.
Thy splendor, butterfly, we are beguiled.
Your loveliness wafts on a summer breeze.
So, leave your kisses for each little child.
Thy splendor, butterfly, we are beguiled.
In springtime, warmth invites your next sojourn.
So, leave your kisses for each little child.
The milkweed flowers wait for your return.
In springtime, warmth invites your next sojourn.
It seems so long since colors fluttered by.
The milkweed flowers wait for your return.
There tiny babies hear their lullaby.
It seems so long since colors fluttered by.
My children planted flowers just for you.
There tiny babies hear their lullaby.
One day soon they will fly away like you.
My children planted flowers just for you.
Enjoy sweet nectar as you beautify.
One day soon they will fly away like you.
Come decorate our gardens as you fly.
My children planted flowers just for you.
So, leave your kisses for each little child.
One day soon they will fly away like you.
Oh gorgeous Monarch, linger longer please.
