Butterflies Are Free

Butterflies Are Free…
(For Karma Nurisha Wa Kupenda)

I touched a butterfly;
It flew away
Free:

Soaring
Into the gentle breeze.

Through the prism of my tears,
Rainbows caressed the skies:

I miss you
And cherish
The cocooned years.
