Butterflies and Flowers
endless
and breathless,
a seasonal sensation
curls me in bliss,
as butterflies and flowers caress
- it’s the magic of majestic moments,
and i am desiring this devoted destination,
of summer sun-kissed skin, bountiful blooms softly dipped -
a playful pathway of delicate daisies swaying and serenading
- then, the melody of the wind whispers low, beauty collides
causing butterflies and flowers to take a bow and disappear,
while nature embraces autumn’s kiss and temps that rearrange
- it’s the end of summertime’s soft, soothing melody
pumpkin spice dances sweetly in the air,
expanding the imagination beyond the sky -
as leaves become a paintbrush,
curling me in bliss
- this seasonal sensation
is breathless,
endless
