Butterflies

There was once a little girl,
And a little boy.
The little girl was all alone,
Without a care in the world.
She had eyes as bright as the sun and a heart
That bloomed with the flowers around her head.
She wrote on pages that
Only her heart knew of
And sang in melodies only
The birds
Could sing along with.
But then,
A little boy
Came up to her,
And took her hand without saying
A word at all.
She didn't question his gesture,
But rather smiled with glee
For she was one
To always enjoy adventure.
He ran with a sprint,
And she couldn't help but to follow.
Her mind couldn't stop racing just wondering where on earth
He was possibly taking her.
They stopped in the middle of a beautiful field.
Breath taken she was
At the sight of it all:
Trees adorned the field and butterflies fluttered
In the flawless sky above.
They were attracted to the flowers in her hair
And in the same manner,
Her heart
Was attracted to them.
The little boy tip toed into the air
In such a way
That made the little girl's eyes gleam.
He caught a butterfly from the air and with the cutest sparkle in his eye,
Handed it to the girl.
Her dainty fingertips held the creature
As their hands touched
For a second or two
Just enough time for her stomach
To make a leap or two.
She looked at the fragile creature
With a sense of wonderment and awe
For its colors were far beyond her imagination
But she was still in love with them
Nevertheless.
But then,
The butterfly escaped her hands
And flew off into the breathtaking skies
As a tear
Fell from her eye.
The boy ran after the creature
And that was the last time
She ever saw the boy.
Left in a field
Where her tears
Were the only ones she had near.
And just like this,
You left.
You were the first
To show me
The beauty of butterflies
And how they felt to have them overwhelm
My heart and mind.
And you were also the first
To show me
How it feels to fall in love them
And have them leave.
You've taught me beauty and destruction
You've taught me happiness and sadness
You've taught me things
I wish
I never had to learn:
I fall in love with things
That are only bound to leave.
And you,
Are one of these

A nice story of love, that ends with such heart break. I wouldn't be so sure that you need to second -descriptive section though? I'd just go with telling the story once. From the little girls perspective.
