Butterflies
Born within a hardened shell
That hangs between the greenest leaves
To grow soft wings, then say farewell
Then fly upon the softest breeze
With lonely flight above the ground
They dance without a musical note
On wings that flutter, make no sound
Butterflies bright, they seem to float
On winds aloft they hang in air
To move among each colored flower
Where life is fragile, unaware
And nectar sweet, they devour
contest Butterflies Among Us
