But Why

You asked me for a kiss,
You asked me if I love you,
You asked me if I had a crush,
You asked me why didn't I whisper "morning wishes"
You asked me why I remained silent.

You asked me to caress you,
To hold your hand,
Then asked, why didn't I hold your hand,
Message me "I Love You".

And yet...
You told me, no feeling for me,
Don't have a crush on me.

Then why are you restless without my text?
Why ask me for a kiss, to caress you?
Why message me "I Love You"?

Then you said, you're scared you'd break my heart.
Isn't this silence the cruelest break after all?
No words, no explanation, only silence.

Is this a sort of gameplay?
Do you think silence heals?
A remedy to the soul?

I am left with questions.
And you with silence.
