But Seriously
BUT SERIOUSLY
But seriously, I am at your service,
Until such time as the moon and sun
Thank the sky and flee, having rolled up the
Scroll of heaven. For there’ll be no need, sweet
Everything at my side – generations!
Rabble-rousing put aside – there’s such peace.
I’m at your service, until then, my Lord!
Out of breath, taking care of your people,
Until you give me rest. And I’m so blessed!
Seriously, the sun and moon arise,
Leaning their ears toward heaven’s grace for
Year after year, until we see your face.
