But Glad I Am,For I Am a Bard

Nothing much I own
But glad I am,For I am a bard.
My poems are my wealth.
My lines are the walls with which
My house i build.
My rhymes are my bike
Upon which i ride.
My pen is my gallant weapon
With which on paper-canvas
I paint my vision.
With my eyes closed
I have seen cities great,
I have seen Paris,I have seen Venice.
For i stand at the zenith,
On a hill of Poetry,
Where many abard,
Before I stood.
