Bus Stop Rain

The day we met the shining sun's gaze and the pouring rain
Waiting at the bus stop hoping for the train
Walking walking here and there but always feeling everywhere
As I paced through the sidewalk trying to avoid the rain
I saw you there dancing away the pain
When our eyes met I thought my heart melted
So magical that I thought it could be presented
And if we met again standing at the bus stop waiting for the pouring rain
Would you do it all over again?
The books we have read and the memories we made
Would you freeze or let them replay
The feeling gets me thinking of the pain
But I’ll stay here sinking in the rain
Because meeting you was a dream
But back then we were just teens
Side by side, drowning our pain
With the scene embroidered in my brain
