Burying You

Since you been gone
I think less of you
I shed less tears

I cried for days
I said a painful goodbye
Meeting your mother for the first time
Wasn't how i dreamed of

Some days I can pass without a thought
Others not so much
Why do i keep thinking of you
Why do i keep crying over you....

Though

Burying you wasn't what I wanted to do.

Two girls say they love you
Though one knew of me
She knew you loved me
She acts like I never was in the picture

Darling please know

I love you
Saying goodbye killed me for months
Would you still be here if you didn't move?
Would you still be here if we were together?
I can't ever forget you..

Burying you wasn't what I wanted to do.
