Bury the Key

I wanted to see you,

more.

More than the seconds
of memory that
anchor
in my
head

when I tug on the rope

~~~
regret is a buried
coffin.
More you dig,
deeper
you
lay.
gates to my graveyard are
locked.
let the key vanish
