Bury It Deep

The abuse and the anguish
The beatings, the bruises
   Hide it away
   Bury it deep

The hatred, the horror
The heartbreak, the hurt
   Hide it away
   Bury it deep

The screams and the shouts
The sorrow, the blame
   The scratches, the scars
   The sin and the shame

   The taunts and the threats
   The trauma, the tears
The violence, the viciousness 
The wailing, the wickedness

   Hide it away
   Bury it deep
