Burning Prison

chained and locked
down by the devil's
grip
you work to escape,
but, it's nothing but
struggle..
his power is to strong
to walk away from..
you pray and pray
trying to break free
from hell's bars!
instead, you end up
deeper in the burning
prison of sin.. praying
your wall of sin
crashes down as
you pray for god..
the chains that
once held you
in hell melt away
from the grace of god
now the only grip you have
is the gentle hands of god
every sin you've
done is forgiven and forgotten
