Burning Desire

Seeing the flame

lit up skies far away

heat of scorching fire

burns the baren thoughts

blazing trail is left behind

of memories in smoke

a flaming course

headed for it’s source

leaving ashes of prose

behind it’s fiery voice

soon everything will burn

there will be nothing left

only fiery pits

of the now baren mind

if the thirst is not quenched

words are not found

fire of burning desire

put out.
