BURN THROUGH THE WALL

Are you still left wondering what is holding you back?
What continues to keep you floundering in pain and lack?
What could possibly have the power to hold you down?
So completely covered in emptiness, you fear you will drown.

Is it the dark past mistakes you have carelessly made,
Keeping you troubled and in confusion, in tears and afraid?
What is the origin of your countless fears and burning shame?
Is it the belief that you’re helpless, hopeless and completely to blame?

When thoughts haunt you endlessly without reprieve
They build a wall of deception before your very eyes.
They make you believe you are powerless, worthless and small,
But the lies obstruct your ability to break through the wall.

Depression, anger, jealousy, confusion and rage
Are negative emotions hanging on the wall you have made.
Their energy lingers about you at every uncertain turn.
The only way to release them is to finally let them burn.

Let the inner fires of forgiveness conflage into healing flames,
Destroying the bitterness of unresolved issues making you a slave.
You built it and are the only one who can burn down your prison wall.
Freedom rises as the smoke finally clears and you can see it all.

Energy Is and will always be, but it can be transcended.
Cleansed and transmuted you set yourself free.
“Choose Again” is the mantra of freedom and hope
Refuse the echoing trauma of the wall’s endless tropes.
