The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Burn Away the Past

I must rise from the ashes
Created by my past
Burn away everything
That tries to hold me back

Embrace the life I'm given
Even, if it's hard
Don't let pain define me
Forget stories behind my lasting scars

Start a new chapter
In this ever-changing life
A new beginning
Beyond my broken past

I wanna behold the beauty
Of just being alive
Thankful for each breathe
That I take to survive

We take for granted
The simplest things
Worry for no reason
Of what tomorrow brings

Life is a mystery
At times, it's so unkind
Yet, it holds a beauty
Beneath what meets the eye

No matter what you go through
No matter what breaks you
You have to keep on fighting
Don't let your struggle overcome you

I believe in the end
It will all be worth it
I'll give myself a chance
Not allow myself the misery of regret

Be thankful in everything
And watch your story change
Erase those bitter memories
Replace hope in place of pain
