The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Burn!

Everyday the tar pit residing in my stomach gets lit up
Everyday behind my eyes the candles that sit there extinguished get ignited
Everyday the blood in my heart pumps and pumps with fiery ambition
Everyday fire courses throughout each muscle in my body
Everyday it touches each nook and cranny
Everyday it courses through my bones and my joints
Everyday it burns fiercely.

Why does it burn?
The hatred in my body makes it burn
The blaze and flames in my body, in my back are a deep dark red
The fire burns a blood red , it dances ferociously and all around from my neck
to my back it feels like a sheet covering my whole back encompassing it whole
But why does it burn?
the hatred in my body for them those who have wronged me
those who have thrown me away like a piece of crumpled paper
It burns so bright and so feverishly that'll it encompass me whole
it burns so much that it's impossible to contain
It'll fully cover me and burn me down along with everyone else and everything else

The next day unfolds and it burns once again

Why does it kindle?
The love residing in my body makes the fire grow and grow
it moves from my heart to my eyes and back and forth until a fire is in both of them
It burns strongly and greatly in my heart for others for people
With each beat and pump of blood into my heart the fire grows
In my eyes It’s like a candle is being lit behind them
And the fire grows endlessly melting the wax below
My eyes widen with love and my heart beats nervously
But why does it kindle?
The love in my body for people, the people I care for
It burns greatly and so passionately that’ll it bury me in the fire
It burns a warm and strong orange it dances swiftly and softly in my heart
It burns for their sake it burns for them
It’ll fully cover me and burn even brighter and more greatly
It'll burn for everyone else around me

I wonder what or who it will burn for next
Will it burn for me for my sake
Will it burn for the sake of others
Who will it burn for?
