Buried Intent and Will

Buried in needless sleep
A personal withdrawal from time and outcomes
In disconnected form
The mind continues, cannot stop

When striving returns to blanket nothing
These dreams rear up
Sideways memories unfurl
Guilt of wrong, misplaced dread

Are we figments of imagination zig zagging
Or victims of meaningless plots in time?

I dont know what to believe in these hours
Gray stones take their life honestly
The world never stops hurdling

I am continuous in motion
Waking simplicity takes shape in resolve
The way a canine drowsily walks the floor
Hindlegs of life never cease
