Buried In a Jar

Wisdom dealt me some sin
Sin then showed my some lies
Lies forgot where I’d been
But for wisdom I’d compromise

Am I even awake?
I will question my dream
What the hell is at stake?
Sugar, coffee and cream

Did I let myself live?
Did they let me die?
I found a jar in the sand
I lost all life inside
But in the sand I’ll never die

Now I know to trust everyone
In belief it’s all real
That is why everyone’s gone
Loneliness is all I feel

Wisdom took me too far
Further down as I speak
Spent too long in this jar
But excuses bury me deep
