Buried Alive
Buried alive, beneath the earth,
Silent cries, without much mirth.
A life once lived, now forgotten,
Trapped below, lifeless and rotten.
The darkness suffocates, the air is thin,
Hallucinations plague, as the mind begins to spin.
Desperate for light, yet there is none,
Buried alive, without a chance to run.
Memories replay, of a life once cherished,
Now only hopelessness, forever to be buried and perished.
A victim of circumstance, a cruel twist of fate,
Buried alive, leaving loved ones to only lament and hate.
The heart still beats, but only in vain,
A soul left to suffer, forever in pain.
Buried alive, with no escape,
A life once full, now just a trace.
Rest now, buried deep beneath the ground,
May peace find you, may love surround.
Buried alive, but never forgotten,
Your life remembered, eternally in our hearts to soften.
