The burgundy red color is so vibrant and alive in the fall.Sara
Frost has tinged the Japanese Maple Turning its leaves to burgundy red Pears lie upon the ground not staple As roosters rise nosily from bed Nice on the porch at sunrise Feeling the November cold Hear birds chirp tales so wise Mocking tale was a surprise and bold

I love this atmospheric piece, Sara. We don't have a rooster next door, but it's kind of nice to hear our neighbour's hens clucking. Our Japanese maple has deep red leaves now too

Sweet write! I love the Japanese Maple tree! Oh and if you are on the farm, you must have some roosters! A great alarm clock(although they aren't as accurate as one might think!)! Outstanding work!!
