Burdens
My soul cries out, there are so many things to say
My heart is floating on water, slipping away
Things I cannot tolerate, I simply cannot accept
Too many lonely, falling, tears in these days wept
Clenching fists at injustice, breaking me down
Evil, hidden, secrets, left behind in a small town
I plead with the skies above, when is this enough?
Why am I always the one who has to be tough?
My soul is worn out by the dark actions of theirs
Those who keep on going, while I keep walking stairs
As I wait for the day, Justice greets me on the shore
When I am no longer burdened by this anymore
