Burden
I’m witnessing this racism
That’s right in front of me
Or am I just insane?
Maybe I’m being paranoid?
Others tell me to get over it
So ignorant that you don’t understand
We don’t share the same skin tone
You don’t understand what I gotta go through
You can’t tell me to deal with it
When it‘s out there tryna kill me
Unlike you I can’t wake up
And shrug it off
There’s some stuff I wanna Change
Maybe it sounds impossible
But who’s gonna do it
When no one started it
We can’t have one discussion
And completely forget about it
You can’t say you’re with us
When you don’t stay for the journey
