Buoyant

Here by the buoy
 Buoy in deep sea
   Sea with salt air
    Air that must come...

Come let us go
 Go somewhere far
   Far from this place
     Place beyond time...

Time to just be
  Be what we are
    Are not mere stuff
     Stuff with no sense...

Sense out of sync
 Sync lost in blurs
   Blurs that now swirl
    Swirl in mad storm...

Storm that flings dust
  Dust that wears breath
    Breath in a choke
     Choke that frees zest...

Zest in a take
 Take what lives here
   Here on the verge
     Verge of word play...

Play with fond ease
  Ease that speaks well
    Well to a fault
      Fault that feels right...

Right to sculpt think
  Think to purge tense
   Tense on the brink
     Brink of odd verse...

Verse that sings out
 Out of the void
   Void that primes seed
     Seed for the dawn...

Dawn comes with light
 Light to see things
   Things of a sort
     Sort brand new flair...

Flair of a soul
 Soul in a heart
   Heart wears a mind
     Mind in quicksand...
