Built For Two

Sometimes I look up to the midnight sky
It feels like I fail every time I try
Don't you know you captured this heart
I'm begging to God this is only the start

Every night I long for your eyes
Every day I wish I could fly
They say the world's built for two
I don't mind if it's just me and you

Can't you see this bed's so cold
Without having you to hold
Don't you see I'm fading to the grey
I'm praying for you every single day

Every night I long for your eyes
Every day I wish I could fly
They say the world's built for two
I don't mind if it's just me and you

I know that we're both broken
I know at times it feels like there's nothing to hope in
But day by day, night by night
I promise to stand by you through every fight

Sometimes I look up to the midnight sky
It feels like I fail every time I try
Don't you know you captured this heart
I'm begging to God this is only the start

Every night I long for your eyes
Every day I wish I could fly
They say the world's built for two
I don't mind if it's just me and you
