BUILDING TENSION
The day approaches, and it is not long now
Before my decision’s made, a prize to award
As judge I have delayed it, as time will allow
I have received threats that I have to record
Either one I choose they’ve got it in for me
I’ll be as safe as paid protection can afford
Both candidates have ‘connections’ you see
The loser’s gang will have harmful intention
Yet the winners won’t care when in ecstasy
What can I do about all this building tension
Declaring a tie will trigger greater dissention
