Buddy

We were becoming such good friends
And one night it came to an end
I didn't see this coming
Or understand why it's happening
You said it's better if we never talked again
It's just too hard

What is Buddy??
Talk to me please
Say what's on your mind
Don't throw our friendship away
No today, not tomorrow, or any day

You said you should've told me sooner
And how sorry you are
But that this was goodbye

I'll fight this I say
Find a way to be together again
Talking and laughing again like old times
Please don't go...

But he was already gone!




My good friend told me tonight that we shouldn't speak anymore and I have no reason why.
He said I hadn't done anything wrong, but that it was for the best. :(

~cont~ So knowing that a girl won't have the same feelings makes it increasingly more difficult to be around them until it just plain hurts. Rather than masochisticly plowing through...he decided to remove himself altogether. It's sad, I know, but it happens...of course-that's just my opinion!! Much love, Steve

Alyssa...It sounds to me like your friend, your "buddy", fell in love with you.. It's hard sometimes for young guys (and a lot of older ones) to keep things platonic with a girl that they find attractive. Sometimes it just sneaks up on you...I know I once had a good girlFRIEND that I bonded so well with and it snuck up on me...I was in love!! ~cont~
