Bubbles

Floating around on an invisible current
grown from the breath of angels
playing in a field of green.

Some soar high up to the clouds
others sink low, coming to rest
on the grass and flowers
their walls slowly weakening.

The best are short lived
with rainbow skin
that twinkles in the sun
and are popped with delight
bringing forth waves of giggles.
