Bubble Girls
One day,
when we were only 15
and locked away, as teenagers so often do,
in my bedroom, loud music thumping, a camera clicks away.
Today,
I still have those pictures.
Me and you, so pretty, with our hair dyed
we look so so young, so idealistic, so covered in bubbles.
Someday,
I would like to see my daughter
take her own best friend by the hand
and play as we so often did, lovely pictures, girls in a bubble.
