Brushstrokes of Sin

Shades of sunsets in stormy
skies,
Starlit promises in hazel eyes.
Pastel dreams in a neon
embrace,
Passionate whispers of silence.
Hazy moonbeams in a sea of
gold,
a kiss so familiar, a touch so
old.
Dancing on waves of blushing
clouds,
laughter in lavender cream.
Diamond in a pitch black sky,
forever in a breathless sigh,
fire in muted shades of grey,
brushstrokes of sin and song.
Damned by the air we have to
breathe,
blessed by the pain we're
forced to believe,
a painting, a portrait of all
which could be,
artistry of a lover's lust.
